Top DressingThe main purpose of top dressing is to help drainage and introduce slow release fertile nutrients to stabilise the health of your lawn, keeping it green for longer. It will also stimulate new grass growth, improve drainage, control the build up of thatch, level the surface and enhance any lawn appearance.
Our Top Dress is a mix of horticultural sand and compost. The real benefits with compost top dressing is that the beneficial bugs that are produced during the composting process have the effect of controlling some of the pests and diseases that can attack your grass and cause serious problems. This process will also enhance the effectiveness of fertiliser treatment programmes.
